I bought an XD9 subcompact this week. I put 150 rounds through it today with no problems. This my my first plastic framed pistol. What type of cleaner/lubricant would be safe to use? I have Break Free and Triflow.

I just clean it with CLP, and leave a little on the rails and barrel for lube.  I also wipe down the slide.

Any of the above will work fine. I also use Shooters Choice grease, or Mobil 1 Synthectic Oil.....

I use EEZOX. Synthetic w/no harmfull chems. Dries to touch and does not leave a sticky film. Smells ok, too. I use it on all my weapons and knives.

I use FP-10, but CLP will work. I have ran my XD nearly dry before... worked fine.
