I'm interested in getting either a model 13 or 65, not sure of 3 or 4 inch bbl.  Was the 4" made in round but too?

Standard 4in. models are square butt, but S&W has made so many variations for companies such as Lew Horton and for LE agencies in the past that nothing is absolute. Certainly it would be easy to buy a 3in. RB and have a 4in. barrel installed, if a bit expensive. I personally prefer the 3in. version myself.

I have a RB 3" 13 and a square butt 4" 65.  Both are great, and the 4" is my current favorite, but that is subject to change.  I do not think there were any RB 4"ers.  

Camera is in the shop, so no pics for a while...
