Size Matters
The Bore of a .410, is nominally .410” reducing at the muzzle depending on the Choke.
The Chamber is about .470” (I don’t have the hull diameter info)
A .41 Mag is about .434”
A .45 Colt is about .480”
But the rim of a .410 is much larger than a .41 Mag so it would drop in the chamber, probably stopping inside maybe flush with the mouth. (don’t have either or I would try it!) Likewise the .410 is not going to chamber in a .41 Mag chamber - even if length weren't a factor.
The .45 Colt is the nearest match. But as limaxray pointed out, there is that pesky pressure issue. The shotgun was never ever intended to operate at those pressures assuming you could even set on off in there.
Most recent .45 Colt barrels are actually .451 and I suspect Tarsus in no exception.
Slugs for .410 range from .389 to .409 but they are riding on a Wad and don’t really touch the bore. So a for a Wad, going from .410 to .451-.454 is not that big of a
stretch (sorry, couldn't resist)
