How is the quality of Cimmeron hand guns? I'm looking at picking up one soon. Also can I shoot regular 38's out of a gun chanbered for 38 colt? Thnak you!

I have owned 2 Cimarrons in the past, and thought they were excellent  values with true attention to detail.
You can shoot 38 colt in a 38 special, but NOT vice versa.

ETA: its a case length issue, just like 38 special in a 357 mag, or 44 special in a 44 mag--shorter rounds can obviously be used in a longer chamer, but not vice versa--a safety feature to keep people from kabooms.

That sucks. I was hoping to shoot 38's to keep cost down.
