Where would I go about getting a "New" barrel installed on my S&W mod 13?  All I have found online is cannibalized barrels.  I realize it is a discontinued revolver.  Is a new barrel out of the question or not cost effective if found?

Thanks,

I think Brownells.com has barrels that will fit the S&W model 13. If it is a 357 Magnum and 38 special barrel will work fine as the bore diameters are identical.

You can order from them and have a 'smith install it for you. Charles the Gunsmith.

You have some options:
First, check with S&W.  They likely have replacement barrels, and they'd be #One to do the re-barreling work.

Here's the "heavy hitters" in gun parts.  Many should have good barrels:

www.brownells.com/   Brownell's has SOME new barrels.

A lot of Pros go here first.
