Guy's,

I am wanting to sell my S&W 686, 2 1/2" stainless and haven't a clue what is a fair asking price.  It is in excellent condition with only less then 100 rounds through it .  It is only 2 years old and  bought it in anticipation of using it but have not.

If anyone could give me an idea on price I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hey,

$20,000, that was a little more then I wanted.

Being serious here if you didn't have something constructive to add, why post ?

I just bought a 4" 686 at a local pawn shop last week for $395, and I didn't feel particuarly ripped off. Some folks on here will swear that they can pick one up for $300 all day long, but I've not seen it in my area.

I've seen them between $350 & $400.  Wish I had the funds, I'd love to have a 2 1/2" to go with my 4".

Thanks a lot guy's.  I think I'll go with $350.00 because I know that would be a fair price and to tell you the truth I just don't want to hassle about $25.00 or so dollars.

If it is in as good a shape as you say, $350 would be the min and $375 to $400 if you find the right buyer.  Brand new they are a little under $500 around here.
