I am wanting to Sope my Super Blackhawk Hunter.  Wondering what a good reliable cost effective option would be.

How much magnification should I go with?

Shots kept to within 100 yards.

Are weaver handgun scopes any good?

I just can't see spending $400-$500 on a short range set up unless it is really needed.

What say U?

I don't know what kind of price range you have ,but I put a Leopold 4x pistol scope on my Super Redhawk a few years ago and it is still going strong.Never regretted spending the extra money for a good quality scope.This is a good one to look at.
