Excellent wheelgun. Trigger is probably typical ruger. It can be fixed up cheap and easy with a Wolff spring kit. Thats the only thing I'd do to it. Perhaps grips if the factory ones don't work for you. 38spl winny white box is like shooting .22's. Gobs of fun!

hey its a good trigger stock but some folks ,myself one, feel the gp-100 trigger is heavy.the lighter spring just takes a bit of that SNAP overkill on the hammer weight too.but stocks its certainly usable.

Nice!

My wife got me one a couple of years ago and it's an excellent pistol, especially with my handloads.  The Wolf kit is less than $20., takes about 15 minutes to install (the complete take down pics and instructions are on the Ruger site) and gives you four different choices of trigger pull weights.  A set of Hogue rubber grips for about $20. were just the ticket for a great hold for me.

The wifes Christmas present to me, a Uberti copy of the 1890 Remington Police Model in 45 Colt.

I've had a blued 4 inch gp100 for about 15 years or so. It was the first handgun I ever owned. Many pistols later it is still going strong. Very accurate and nice looking too. I'm sure you will love it. Mine has been used for everything from carry gun to truck gun to hunting deer. My uncle took a nice buck with it and while he was gutting it out another walked out of the woods on him and he plugged it too! A great pistol in my opinion!!
