I was hoping someone had information on this revolver:

The gun is a DW Model 7460 and the caliber is 460 Rowland (also shoots 45acp, 45Winmag). The unfluted cylinder has a heat treated appearance. Uses moon clips and is damn accurate. Does anyone know the approximate value and what the deal is with the cylinder?

I have one also. I know of only one other guy on ARFCOM that mentioned he also owned a 7460, rare as frickin' hens teeth.

Its some sort of heat treatment. As far as I know, Titanium is the only metal that "rainbows" like that when heated. Its....unique for a lack of a better word!
