A local shop has some police trade-ins. In addition to some blue S&W .38s that look like they were tumbled in a concrete mixer, there are some stainless Ruger Service Six revolvers that are double-action only; some of them look pretty good, but I like single action handguns (or SA/DA).

I am asking more from curiosity than a strong desire for one of the Rugers, but is it possible to convert these things to SA/DA? If possible, how much work is it? What parts would be needed?

Thanks,
Chris
