Very nice.  I need to get a nice set of wood grips for my 686.

Very nice, who made em? I got a great pair of custom boot grips for my python from Badger grips.

There made by hogue, they are the kingwood square butt.
I had to put a little tape in it to shim it (as outlined in the instructions) to make it 'mate up' along the back strap.
Im pretty happy with them.
Feels very good in the hand, however in a sweaty situation I may prefer the pachmeyer gripper that came with the pistol.
However I agree with most on here that a nice set wood adds a touch of class to the pistol.
I just need to get out and shoot it now.

Jim Badger (Badger Grips) makes some nice grips for revolvers.

few finer than Nill grips...

Wish I could afford to get a couple matching grips for my N-frames, tried to order once and had an awful time trying to talk to their fresh across the ocean represenatives down in Texas.    Uber-german accent of doom made it difficult to hold a conversation.

It's a shame, their stippled grips are incredible.
