Early N series, N frame serial number N13648.
While not a huge fan of the 8-3/8" offering this one was a no-brainer. 1970-1972 circa Unfired Correct box w/ wax paper $500 cash

Slight flame cutting on top strap. Discolered forcing cone. Working for single pic could be wrong but unless he shot it already or the pics junk it's been fired

Well heck! The bad news. After posting the pics on the S&W Forum I discovered that these are the wrong grips for this pistol. The good news? After posting the pics on the S&W Forum I discovered that these are the wrong grips for this pistol.
Apparently these are a relatively rare set of 1950's, non-relieved, diamond center, checkered, target grips. I have had 7 PMs from folks wanting to buy the grips outright. The offers are between $175 and $200. Sweet! |
