I just had to bring it home. It's a 1978 production and looks hardly fired
This makes six Colt wheel guns for me. Two Cobras (a 22lr 3" and a 38 spec 2" both first gen), an unfired-in-box New Frontier 22lr, a nickel 3rd gen SAA 5.5" 357 mag, a Magnum Carry, and now the Diamondback. I've got a good 25-30 Smith wheel guns to go with 'em. Good revolvers are worse than AR's with me! |

Absolutely beautiful.
I am trying to find one local to me, for a good price. Every one I come across, the owner is asking way to much for it. Makes me sad

They sure aren't cheep anymore. I still kick myself for selling the two Pythons I had several years ago. Per the previous owner this one was bought new, fired 10 rounds and put away. I believe him too. There is a small scratch on the bottom of the barrel lug but that's it. It had rubber grips on it when I got it but came with the originals. Pulled the rubber grips off and it was spotless. The single action trigger is amazing! Only thing that comes close is my Smith 14-2.

Very nice! Keep looking for a nice .38spl to go with the .22 Diamondback I have but every nice one I see is in the Python price range and I don't want one THAT bad.
