Remember...that is the ship date and not the production date. While they are usually very close, it is / was not unheard of for a gun to sit at the factory for years before being shipped out...VERY nice old revolvers OP!

Thank you guys very much! I bought some .38, .38+P, and .357 to take to the range with this gun. We'll see how I do with it.
ETA: It has nice wood grips, but the grips get in the way of my grandfather's speedloaders. Since it's not my gun, I'm not changing the grips. I' sure it will still be a fun time. |
