just purchased one of these for plinking.

.44 mag, 10.5 " barrel, stainless steel finish...

i am impressed at the handling, fit, and finish of this single action revolver. not as heavy as i thought it was going to be either. now i gotta find some "lett grips" to improve the looks.

Congrads, I love the Blackhawk, well single actions in general.  Are you going to scope it out or just shoot with the irons?

Bought mine years ago.  5 1/2 barrel.  First thing I did was to buy a NEI 320 grain mold to make my "plinking" load.  Oh yea, it does kick a little.  Built like a vault.

Flashback, 20 years!  Thats what the wife learned on...long barrel in blue. Another one I wish I had back! The fondest of memories! Great gun!
