I purchased one of the first Gold Combats which, if I remember correctly, came with the trijicon night sites.  I find that these are very dull in comparison to some P.T. night sites I have on a Glock.

The newer Series II Kimbers now come with Meprolite Night Sites, if I'm not mistaken.

How do y'all like the Meprolites?  

Are they bright enough to line up in any low light situation, other than sheer darkness?

Have you noticed if the Meprolites started getting visable, in the dark, after several thousand rounds?
