I have a Kimber CDP Pro II and I just picked up some Chip and Mcormick 8rd mags for it.
Is it ok to use these mags even though there is a steel follower in them considering the aluminum parts in my CDP?
Just wanted to make sure before I used them.
Thanks.

Well, if you are asking whether they will work in your weapon, definitely a YES.
If you are asking whether they will lead to marking/hurting the weapon, again a YES.
Get yourself some Wilson 47D mags and use the Chip McCormicks for trading stock, or just load them up as back ups and put them in the door pocket, under your nightstand, under the couch, behind the TV, under the coffee table, you get the idea!

No need to replace the whole magazine. It would be more cost effective to replace just the spring and follower. I recommend Tripp Research spring and follower kit.
