Hi folks. I'm new to 1911 style. Picked up a Kimber Pro Carry on trade. Will grips made for a Colt Officer's fit on this?

I was looking at some Pachmayr walnut or rosewood w/ rubber wrap around. I kinda like that look. Anyone know if those will fit on my Kimber?

If you have a Pro Carry it will require full length grips, not grips for the Officers ACP.

I'm sure Pachmayr makes the grips you described for your gun but I wouldn't put them on. My personal preference is for regular grips on 1911s not something that wraps around. Most wrap around grips with finger grooves don't allow your hand to naturally index on the frame of the gun and actually end being quite uncomfortable. YMMV.
