As I was looking through my Kimber catalogue I noticed that kimber is offering a few pistols in .38 super but nothing in 9mm. In a side by side comparison between the two calibers, which is the superior round overall?

Hello. I have a 38 super on order. My friends tell me 38 super out classes the 9mm. I have a 9mm SA. I love it! Shoots straight, no felt recoil and with the right HP round I think it is a decent defensive caliber.
