Bought the "Melt" barrel bushing from Brownells for my Eclipse Custom II, and it doesn't fit. The bushing itself is too large to fit into the slide, and the barrel doesn't fit into the bushing. There is a "lip" of sorts in the bushing which is preventing the barrel from fitting.

I would very much like to avoid having anything done to my slide, so that I can always replace a standard bushing if need be.

What can be done? Will it have to be machined to fit? TIA
