You SHOULD get at least 2 Hi capacity mags (13 for full size USP40).

Otherwise, it's gonna cost you another $70 for two hi caps.  I speak from experience

I have USP 9mm. I love it. I think 40sw and 9mm are about same pistol, except the caliber.

45 usp is longer and taller.

You'll love the USP.  I've had my USP Compact for a couple of months now and favor it by far over any other ccw I've carried.  The pistol should come with 2-10 round mags.  I also recommend picking up a couple of high caps.  The compact high caps are 12 rounders and the fullsize are 13 I believe.

The accuracy and reliability are astonishing, much easier and nicer to use than my Glock and I've gotta say the single action kicks ass.

I just picked up my new USPC 40 yesterday and got to put 50 rounds through it today.  I could not be happier with it. Right out of the box it was accurate. I got the LEM version and the trigger pull and reset was great. If I had my money back, I would just order the same thing again. Mine came with 2 12 round clips. Make sure you get the hi-caps with your gun as stated by others.

Ooooh, Tekk!  I'm thinking CDNN had full size USP 40s for $617.  They could be out of stock right now, and the price could have gone up.  Did that make you feel better?? :D  Sorry to be the bearer of maybe bad news :(

I've had my USP 40 F since '93.  I love this gun. it runs and runs. no hiccups or jams. accurate and reliable, even in cold ,wet conditions.  I doubt you will be disappointed.

Shotgun News has vendors featuring USP 40s for around/under $600

Every other caliber seems to be more expensive, so I assume these are LE trade-ins...

A 9mm fullsize would interest me at that price, but not a 40cal...

I got my USPc .40 V1, grey frame, back in January.  Was looking at another 1911 but this girl just screamed "I'm 599$ take me!"

Two 12rd mags, box, gun and cable lock.

Now I have ten 10rd mags for the range.  :)  Outdoorbrothers sells them on EE for 9.95/ea.  I couldn't see spending 30+/ea for two more rounds per magazine.

I don't hear of grey frames often. I have been looking for a USPc 40 also and see that Cal's has one for 638 but in grey. Could you post a pic?

Thanks,
Craig

I LOVE my HK USP .40

Mine came with 2-13 rounders. I got a good deal on it especially since it was during the "Ban"

It's pricey but WELL worth it IMO
