i know they use a special process to make their barrels, but i can't find an explanation on it.  can someone explain?  thanks.

It is my understanding that it is pretty much the standard hammer forging except they use a polygonal mandrel rather than the conventional land and groove mandrel.  They are harder than most barrels but that is in the material, not the process of making.
