For a factory refinish send your slide to ARS.
If you sent it to HK they would in turn send it to ARS and charge you more money. |

I have had three Hk's done by Robar. Each time I had the slide, barrel, recoil spring assembly, hammer, slide release and all internal metal parts done in their NP3 finish. It is awesome. The gun becaomes almost self cleaning - it's like dirt doesn't stick to it and the metal parts are so smooth. I like the look as well - it is a subdued nickel.

Does ARS do a laquer style finish like the MK23 has?

You can email them, but do not expect Mark to write volumes in return. He is a gunsmith. They do excellent work, but are not necessarily the most verbose communicators around. I have the MetalCol III on a FAL mark built for me and I love it...a great finish. www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/ |

Does anyone have any experience having a CeraKote finish done? It's offered by one of our EE sponsors, LTM Refinishing. Is it as good as the Metacol III (sp?) from ARS?
