I have a 96 vintage USP 9 thats seen several thousand rounds, and alot of carry in those early days.

Now that Im moving toward the VP9 for carry, (and I still carry my USPC and G19) I've taken that USP out of the safe, and re-discovered just how much I love it. Had it cerakoted, and gave it new life.

Took it out to the range yesterday, ran it hard, and fell in love all over again.  I got to thinking, Id like to finally put some time into it, and make it a full size sort of go to gun.

To wit-
Supressor barrel
Jet funnel + mags
Removable light and mount.

I dont want to spend TOO much on the light and mount, but Id like a light I can swap to my P30 if I wanted. Im looking for suggestions as to a cost effective good value light, and a mounting solution for it. I dont want something oddball for it, as Id like to be able to get a kydex holster for it - but my budget will be completely raped by the threaded barrel and jet funnel mags.

Have that set up on my USP Tac 45.

GG&G as stated.  Surefire is the same rail, but more coin.

Streamlight TLR-3 is available with a "native" USP (or USP-c) attachment, but it's a compact light that uses the smaller CR2 battery.

Mounts directly so won't work on the P30.



Or you can make a race gun more fun to shoot. I use it interchangeably with a 2011 for USPSA matches.
