Saw one in the local gunstore. Pretty sure it was in .38 Special and was blued.  Looked like it had been used pretty hard, but was in great overall shape.

New model, old model, box and papers?  Lots to consider.  DS is moving into collector realm and price tag.

I'm going to assume it's about 60s manufacture with no box or papers.

I'd figure $350-$400+ if shooter grade and $500+ if the finish is spectacular.

I got a gen 3 (ca.1981) with minor bluing wear at the holster contact points for $325 with a holster thrown in a few years back. I see those here and there for $350+
