Excellent price. I bought a NIB 1911a1 a month or so ago and it cost me $890.00
Haven't even take it out of it's case yet, too many guns too little time. |

In MA that would go for over a grand since you can't get them new here anymore. I'm jealous!

I hope that was retail on the supposed GI copy 1911A1.Right now I can buy them for $789 if I get two,$799 if singles order.The other 1911A1 Colts are much less.Colt is a very poorly managed company and everything they sell now is a "1911A1" it seems like.Imagine if a Gun Guy ran Colt,they would be impressive!! Instead, they are vampires living off the marrow of the dead. cpermd |

That is a good price for the pistol. I recommend getting a Springfield over a 1991. The 1991 is terrible when you compare the two. If you want a REAL Colt, try to find a good used Series 70 or 80. Much better quality. This, of course, is just my personal take on them. What ever you decide at least you are going to buy an awsome caliber.
