They are better then the old series 70 in almost every way.

What he said–– nicer rollmarks, better barrel, cleaner machining, more reliable.
Some of the best pistols Colt has ever built. +P ammo is not the best thing for any 1911–– a steady diet of it means you should have some minor modifications performed or durability and reliability will suffer. |
