And I'm looking to buy a P22.  It seems that the MSRP is $299.  How much should I offer a dealer for one?

I know the older models are supposed to suck, but if I buy a new one they are supposed to suck less (and be pretty damn good if you follow some of the tips from the tacked thread here).  Are there any model numbers or anything I can look at to ensure I am getting a good specimen?
