Bought a used P22 two weeks ago, and I finally shot it today.
It seemed lubed enough, but after constant jams/fail to feeds after the first two mags, I decided to lube it up. Using a brand new mag I picked up a few days ago, it went through all 10 rounds, as it should.
I shot about 100 rounds through it today, and the new mag seemed to work better then the old two, although they appeared to be in good shape. I was shooting the Winchester Super X HPs, and I know many .22s are picky about what they like to shoot.
It still had plenty of fail to feeds throughout the afternoon, most of which were with the old mags. Oh well.
I shot at bowling pins and it seemed pretty accurate. It is pretty small, but you get used to its size pretty quickly. Hopefully after I get done cleaning it, it'll perform much better next time.
What type of ammo do you all use/recommend?
