I noticed real quick that these single stack factory mags are very pricy. almost 35 a pop for a 7 rd mag.

I searched in gunbroker.com and there are a lot of cheaper mec-gar magazines available. are they any good?

One thing most Walther PPK and PPK/s owners find out: Stick with genuine Walther magazines.

It just seems that ALL aftermarket, including the Mec-Gar just aren't reliable feeders.
This is not to say your luck might be better, or that ALL Walther's won't work with ALL aftermarket, but most owners seem to have bad luck with everything but genuine Walther mags.

Ive had some work fine, others wouldnt lock the slide back when the magazine was empty.  Look at shows for the Manurhin marked magazines, thay work good in mine.
