I while ago I read someone say that one problem with the P22 is that if you oil the tabs that the slide's groves lock into, it will catch fouling and file down the groves in the slide.

I can't find this thread, but I was wondering if this problem also happens to the P99?

Yes, this is true. Also true is if you masterbate, you'll go blind.  


Oil the tabs, shoot the gun & enjoy it. Ignore the yahoo who told you this bullshit as well.
