ETA... Oops PT 24/7 in 9mm
I like it alot, at first I thought I had alot of malfunctions, but just last weekend I figured out that I was only having problems with the slide locking up on one of my mags, not both, so I marked it and wont use it except at the range, too bad new mags cost somewhere around 50 bones. I also have a Taurus .17 Tracker, very accurate and no malfunctions. |

Nathan: Where did you get those grips? And any idea where I can find some like that for my PT92? |
|

Hey there, I know a Boondock Saints fan when I see it! Those grips are cool. Taurus has made some solid pistols. I knew when they started making .45 1911's they would be equally solid!
Was considering altering my mount to work with the 92/99 series, but think there is more of a call for 1911's because of ipsc and shooting clubs ,etc. Have a good one! Dave, Pres. Surv. Consultants Int'l. |

My apologies for taking so long to get back to you. I purchased them from a Guy on Ebay that custom makes them. Go to ebay and search for "Boondock Saints 1911 grips" and the guy will show up. Rare-n-unique is his handle. Email him and he'll make a set like mine for you. As far as for the PT92, I have no idea. I have the stock Wood grips on my PT92AF. I love my grips. Very good quality and the guy makes them all by hand. I had to mod them a little (file the grip) so they would work with the Ambi Safety. I have had several comments while shooting Single Stack in USPSA. I hope it brings the guy more business. |

I really wish my agency would allow me to carry a 1911.
Mine sits in the safe most of the time while is plastic brothers get taken everywhere. |

fine looking!! Have you had any magazine related malfunctions? How long has yours been "born"? |
|
|
I bought it new in August of this year. First time to the range, it had some problems. Magazine 1 racked itself when it went in. Then the mags began dropping out of the gun.
I just got it back from Taurus Friday.Tomorrow it is going to the range for some testing. Hopefully it'll be alright. I really like the gun! Accurate, low cost and VERY comfortable! Stay tuned, I'll chime back after tomorrow. Jay |

I don't know about that. it doesn't look very accurate |
