Question...

I have opportunity to purchase a Taurus PT945 with night sights and the custom slide (compensation) porting. up to half a dozen mags. in "good" to "great" condition, for only $500

should I take this deal. or should I look more into the PT 1911 I really like taurus for the price. and love having a 45. but im so in love with the 1911 body. and I know if I hold out for a 1911 I will be able to find a good holster and wrap around grips.

but the PT945 seems like a great deal.

any insight anyone has would be great. on prices... or if you know where i can get a good holster/grips for the PT945 that may help me seal the deal.

I'd go for the PT1911, but that because I love the 1911 platform.  The PT1911 is the best deal on the market right now in a 1911.  It's your money buy what you really want and it sounds like you really WANT a 1911.
