I recently joined the ranks of the Taurus owners.  I went to the local gun shop on Tuesday looking for a Beretta 92.  Nastalgia about my Army days drove me to want one.  What I found starring at me from behind the glass counter was a PT 92 in matte stainless with 17 rd mags.  I couldn't resist.  I had to take it home!!!

Today was my first time firing it.  I had very little problem loading 17 rounds of Hornady 115gr JHP/XTP.  But, once I switched to wolf 115 gr FMJ with their steel cases, I couldn't squeeze the last two rounds in.  I tried banging the mag forward, backward and sideways in my hand.  What finally helped get the last two in was tapping the bottom of the mag in the palm of my hand a couple of times.

Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?  Are my mags suppose to be that finicky?
