I have a PT-145 Mil Pro.  The manual has a warning against using high-pressure (+P) rounds.

However, the 2005 Taurus catalog has a statement that very explicitly states ALL Taurus handguns are +P-safe, even for regular use!

Which of these is right?

This may sound silly, but why not get from the horse's mouth? Give them a call. I found them very good to deal with on the phone before I sent mine in for repair. Got a live person on the phone right off the bat who seemed very knowledgable.
