PT92, had a 99 years ago ( still in the family )  dead nuts reliable and decently accurate.   I'd get an older one without the decocker though.  I like carrying safety on and a thumb swipe like the 1911.   The decocker model is too easy to swipe past the fire postion.

Havent looked at them in the last few years though, they may have corrected that.

I just bought a PT92AF. My dad had an older one with around 2500 through it, and it still works perfect.

I just bought a PT92AF with low miles on it. Shoots great and feels good in the hand. Came with one 15 rounder and wood grips. I bought a 17 rounder at the local fun shop and it functioned perfectly. This gun is every bit as accurate as my P226 and functions flawlessly. It has the decocker which is similar to the Sig.

About 10 years ago I spent almost $600 on a Beretta 92F. It was a good gun but I wasn't too fond of the slide safety. Other than the name, I don't see a big difference between the Taurus and the Beretta.

I spent $200 on this gun and it was money well spent!

I'd get the PT-92.
In fact I have a PT-92 that started out life as a PT-99, but the adjustable rear sight was too fragile and when Taurus was repairing it (it needed a new slide because of the rear sight failure) they used a PT-92 slide at my request.
Aside from the rear sight issue it has been my most reliable handgun.

I say a 24/7 but that is because I like it and do not use single action that often.  I think whichever one is good but you will be surprised at how the 24/7 handles.
