I have a model 85TI total titanium 38 I shoot +P's in it and it doesnt really have much recoil.

What finish is your TI? I've seen the shadow gray, but not the bright blue. Also, I was just curious if Taurus stopped porting the barrels because of the cost, popularity, or if it was some type of safety issue.

Gander Mountain has the 85 on sale right now for 229 and they have some kind of program to ship the guns off to Magna Port. |
