Had SGH make a back pocket holster for my 3" j-frames.  It was exactly what I asked for and good quality.  Erik does a fine job.  MN based too.  Just for walking in the woods or 4-wheeling

Looks like somebody could just walk behind you and snag it. I would stick to the woods with that holster
