I just picked up a 9mm P226.

I have hi-caps for it socked away but I want to get a 10 rounder for it to take the wear and tear of usage while I save the hi-caps.

I am placing a catalog order for some items, but there are no 10's in it for the P226, but they do offer a 10rd P229 mag in .40 SW.  I don't want to order from a different catalog if I don't have to so I can save on shipping costs.

I know Beretta's 92F 40 SW mags fit and function in their 9mm's but I don't know about the Sigs, especially between two different models.

226 mags will work in a 229 but not vice versa

229 mags are shorter in length
