Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Promag Magazines

Are promag magazines any good?  I've know USA mags are crap & have heard good things about Mec-gar but haven't heard anything about promags.  I'm was looking at thier mags for Sig P228.  Any help would be appreciated.

in general, promags SUCK; some are ok for range use, but i would NEVER trust my life to any promag mag

i have tried or seen promag mags for Ruger p89/95 series, XD, 1911, ARs, Sig, and a few others--a few were ok, more were probablematic

the best aftermarket, non-factory mags out there are MecGars
