Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sight/Scope mount for light rail

I posted this question in the 1911 discussions area when I should have posted it here.

Does anyone make a mount for a Red Dot sight that attaches to the bottom rail of a 1911. I've seen them for Sigs and Glocks but not for a 1911. A friend is interested in one for his TRP Operator.
