If anyone has had experience with either or both, Id like to know the pros/cons of them.  Thanks.

As I understand it, the Lasermax is not user-adjustable, so if for some reason it happens to project it's dot 3 feet from actual bullet impact, it's pretty much your tough shit. The Crimson Trace lasers OTOH, are user adjustable. This alone would be enough to convince me to go with CT.

I own the CT laser on a 1911.  Deciding factor for me was the extreme ease of turning it on and off.  Also, I read here and elsewhere that the lasermax had reliability issues.

I'm so impressed with my first set that I'm planning to purchase another set for my nightstand gun.

I have Crimson Trace LG-305's on a J frame.  No problems.  They are great.

So I bought the Crimson Trace.  Its pretty cool.  I liked the fact that the Lasermax was all internal and would look "stock", but the CTC seemed much better and I think I made a better purchase.  I zeroed it in at 25yds, shot 50 rounds and cant tell its moved.  Dont think its helped my accuracy, but its cool.  Thanks for your reccomendations.
