Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What's this piece that came with my P226 CQC Serpa holster?

I emailed Blackhawk but never got a reply.  It says SIG in tiny letters cast into the middle of the square on both sides and is 27mm from side to side.  Any ideas?

I figured they were spacers, used to prevent the holster from collapsing if / when weight is piled on during shipping. I am interested to hear if they have any other use.

Sold them for quite awhile and that's the only use I ever saw for them.  Once they were unpacked and fingered, I threw the spacers out, so I hope there's not a use for them.
