Can someone tell me if a 9mm muzzle brake/compensator would work for .357 SIG? It seems to me it should. I would also like to know if .357 SIG rounds would ruin a 9mm scilencer. Many thanks in advance.

Check with the actual manufacture of the brake/compensator you are considering and ask them. They probably know more about it than the speculation you would get here!

Same would hold true for a silencer only more so! I would expect that they are designed for a specific load range.

(Keep in mind I have never seen a silencer and that is what I meant about uninformed speculation)

I can see no reason why it would not.  

The .357 SIG is no more than a necked down .40S&W case with a 9mm (.355 dia) bullet.

Having said that... there may be some ballistics dynamics that may factor in if you are looking for a suppressor.

That makes sense. 357 Sig with weak load should be able to reproduce the ballistics of standard 9mm.
