I was just wondering if anybody knew if if the primers come sealed from the factory on the 9mm 124gr +p and the .45 200gr standard pressure loads.  These are what I use in my defensive guns.

I am concerned that between the light oil in the chamber and the light amount of oil I lube the slides with that some may seep into the primer of the chambered round potentially leading to a misfire.  Has anybody had this problem with GD's or any other type of ammo?

I am going to conduct a test by putting a drop of oil on the outer surface of the primer on some Gold Dots, hydrashocks, and UMC ammo and test them at the range next time I go in a few weeks.  I will let you know what happens.  Peace.

John
