Does anyone have any experience with this ammo in a 9mm handgun? I recently purchased some Winchester Ranger 9mm 127gr +P+ and was thinking I could use this as cheaper practice ammo....

Anyone out there tried it?

I've read it's "Subgun Only," and also that lots of folks are using it their Glocks. If +P+ is subgun only...What's up with the Winchester?

Thanks for the help.

Very hard primers......therefore typically used in subguns.

Yes, but excellent for misfire exercises - trust me.

Also can have steel jackets.  And European +P+ is can be loaded even a bit above U.S. standards.  With that said, I have friends who have shot this stuff in limited quantities in their GLOCKs with no problems.

Glock would be one of the few guns I would shoot Hirtenberg through.

Isn't this the stuff ATF put out the warning on?  If so, it should only be used in Uzis.  It's much too hot for pistols.
