Woops!  You said white box FMJ?  I thought that you meant the Winchester JHP's that come in a white box(cheap stuff, but atleast they're hp's)!  No they didn't use FMJ's up until a few years ago.  In a metropolitan area like NYC they couldn't use ball ammo, and instead used 9mm Speer Gold Dot +P 124gr hollow points.  Orlando Florida issued Winchester Ranger 127gr +P+ for 9mm's.  124-127gr high velocity ammo seems best for 9mm's.  FMJ's don't kill people, just ask a friend in/back from Iraq or Afghanistan and they'll tell you what to do with your FMJ 9mm ammo.  This last point is not up for debate, just ask anyone who has been shot by/or shot someone with FMJ and you'll quickly learn that FMJ's don't work for shit.

unless the fmj is 55gr and going 3000-4000fps
