I've never been to a tournament but I'm thinking of giving it a try this summer. So not ever being to one I'm unsure of what kind of ammo to use. I'm thinking there's going to be plates to knock over so is there any 9 ammo that works better at doing this or is it all good? I'm thinking 147 grain flat point American Eagles. Good or bad? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Oh, it's going to be a G19 if that matters.

What kind of tournament?  IDPA?  If you reload, I'll give you a popular recipe.  If not, just use whatever you can afford to practice a lot with.
