been shooting 1911s for 50 yrs.never had this to happen before.
firingpin stop slipped down and jammed the 1911- happened twice today at the range-- any suggestions?

Ever clean out the firing pin channel?

Id start with a new firing pin spring and a fitted oversized firing pin retainer.
