Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Remington Hunter slide sight question

When facing the muzzle of this Remington Hunter slide; do I insert my new rear and front sights from the left side to the right side of this pistol slide or like a Kimber 1911 model; from the right side to the left side of this pistol slide ?  The sight cuts are styled like a Para Ordnance slide.  Thank you and any help will be appreciated.  John

If the sight cuts are normal they should be a hair wider on the non ejection port side or looking from the muzzle , the left side.
So Left to right.
